Guided coastal walk from Brighton

Join us from Brighton for a guided coastal walk along the Seven Sisters, designed for people who want to experience the South Downs on foot rather than from viewpoints.

This immersive walking tour includes two carefully planned walks totalling around 10km, offering some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in England.

  • Guided walk along the iconic Seven Sisters cliffs

  • Two scenic circular walks totalling approx. 10km

  • Cliff-top paths, open downland and coastal views

  • Walk past Belle Tout Lighthouse

  • Panoramic views across the Cuckmere Valley

  • Small group experience with local, professional guides

Your day begins at London Bridge Station, where you’ll meet your guide and small group. After a short welcome, you’ll receive your train tickets and travel together to Brighton before continuing by minibus into the South Downs.

This is not a sightseeing tour with short walks. Once the walking begins, you’ll be out on the trail for several hours, experiencing the Seven Sisters at ground level. The pace is steady and well managed, with regular stops for photos, rest, and storytelling, but this is a proper coastal walk.

The first walk is the longer and more demanding section, taking you across open downland and along the cliff tops above Birling Gap and Beachy Head. Along the way, your guide will share stories of shipwrecks, smugglers, lighthouse keepers, and how this dramatic coastline has shaped local life.

After a short break, the second walk is shorter and gentler, looping around Seaford Head Nature Reserve, where you’ll enjoy one of the most iconic views in England — the full curve of the Seven Sisters stretching across the Cuckmere Valley.
