Small group tour with local professional guides
Your day begins at London Bridge Station, where you’ll meet your guide and small group. After a short welcome and receiving your train tickets, you’ll travel together to Brighton before continuing by minibus into the South Downs.
Once on the minibus, the pace of the day is unhurried and immersive. This is a full-day experience with plenty of time at each stop, allowing you to absorb the landscape and hear the stories that bring the South Downs to life.
The tour begins at Devil’s Dyke, one of the most famous viewpoints in the National Park. From the top, you’ll enjoy sweeping views across the Sussex countryside while your guide introduces the South Downs and shares the legend behind the name Devil’s Dyke.
From here, the tour continues to a relaxed lunch stop. Most days this is at Middle Farm, a traditional Sussex farm known for its local produce. During busier periods, lunch may instead be in the nearby village of Alfriston, often ranked among the most beautiful villages in England. Lunch is not included, giving you the freedom to choose what suits you.
After lunch, the journey continues south through the Cuckmere Valley, one of the most recognisable landscapes in the South Downs. Along the way, you’ll take in views of the ancient Long Man of Wilmington, a mysterious chalk figure whose origins are still debated.
The coastal section of the tour begins at Beachy Head, the highest point on the chalk cliffs, before continuing to Birling Gap — where most visitors come to experience the Seven Sisters up close. Here you’ll have time to walk along the clifftops, take photographs, and — conditions permitting — walk down to the beach.
The final coastal stop is Seaford Head, a quieter viewpoint offering a sweeping panoramic view of the Seven Sisters stretching across the Cuckmere Valley. You’ll walk around the headland at a relaxed pace, taking in one of the most dramatic coastal landscapes in England.
The tour returns to Brighton in the late afternoon or early evening before you travel back to London by train.

EXCELLENT Based on 812 reviews Posted on MalaVerified Perfect This small-group day trip was exactly what I was looking for. We saw a few beautiful sights, saw the cliffs from many different viewpoints, and spent an appropriate amount of time at each stop. It didn't feel too rushed or too slow, and we had enough bathroom breaks. And we had a long-enough break for a warm beverage (included with the tour) and snacks or lunch, if desired. The guide was also friendly and sociable and well-informed. I highly recommend it!Posted on Wendy HVerified Fantastic Day Trip from London A long, but really fantastic day trip away from London. We were blessed with beautiful weather yesterday Thursday 30/1/25 (sun, no rain, no wind!).Definitely a worthwhile experience if you have time. All the guides were friendly and helpful and made the day enjoyablePosted on Journey44752889432Verified Perfectly planned and timed tour at the Seven Sisters Cliffs The trip was excellent and well planned. Paul was a fantastic guide and let us explore the place ourselves. The stop at Midland farm was a great choice and overall, the journey was easy and comfortable. Highly recommended!Posted on J AVerified 100% recommend Fabulous tour, very nice and knowledgeable guide Adam. Will definitely do again next time we’re in Brighton. Definitely recommend!!Posted on Allison YVerified Stunning views! We took the Seven Sisters and South Downs tour on December 9th. The whole trip was very well organized and the guides were very knowledgeable. We saw the Devil's Dyke, the Long Man of Wilmington, the White Horse, and the Seven Sisters Cliffs which is stunning! The weather wasn't so great but we expected it. Overall it was an awesome trip and very recommended!Posted on aviram salamaVerified Seven sisters second time Another excellent time with these guys, this was the 3rd time I’ve took this tours did the Sussex one as well and seven sisters twice. The guy who met us at London bridge ticket office was really nice(wish I had his name) made sure keep us updated when we suppose to leave and where is he at the train incase any problem may happen.Brighton is lovely city people are extremely nice, we had Adam as our guide full of knowledge patient, Friendly, made sure were not too cold or too hot at the bus.The tour it self takes around 6 hours the seven sisters are gorgeous one of the places I’m willing to go back over and over and over without hesitation. The only problem was we were stopped for a lunch break at the nice village called alferston or something similar. The pub we’ve been told there gonna be decent food for my opinion was awful, how much can you screw a burger? Well apparently you can.Amazing tour worth every penny just as my personal opinion bring your own lunch .Posted on clare pVerified So worth it! A must see! This tour is so worth it! This was our 2nd trip to London and we wanted to explore outside of the city. We met Tom in London who guided us on the train to Brighton, where we then met with our guide/driver Adam. Adam was fantastic, he was very informative and made sure everyone was comfortable. He took the time to explain the cool sites and landscape. Although windy and rainy, it was beautiful and worth it if you want a different cultural experience. The food and drinks we had were fresh and delicious, the local cider tasting was very cool, and of course we had to bring home some local mead!Posted on Shea GarrettVerified Incredible Memories Visiting the Seven Sisters, South Downs & Sussex My husband & I visited the Seven Sisters, South Downs, and Sussex and it was nothing short of magical, thanks to our relaxed and personable guide. From the very beginning, they set the tone for an unhurried, enjoyable experience, ensuring we could fully immerse ourselves in the breathtaking beauty of the landscape. The views of the chalk cliffs were jaw-dropping, and the South Downs countryside was serene and lush—truly a feast for the eyes. What made the tour extra special was our stop at the Middle Farm in Meade for a hot tea & lunch. They gave us ample time to take plenty of photos at the beautiful cliff sides and beaches, soak in the scenery, and ask questions without ever making us feel rushed. It felt more like exploring with a knowledgeable friend than a formal tour.If you’re looking for a tour that lets you truly savor the experience without the hustle of rigid schedules, this is it. The Seven Sisters and South Downs are stunning. Highly recommend!Posted on Maya KVerified kind, patient, knowledgeable local guide Guide always made sure everyone made it back to the bus and waited for the people that were late and contacted them. He was very helpful and he’s funny. South downs park, seven sisters cliffs, birling gap were all nice. he also took us to his favorite village Alfriston on the way for lunch and we had free time at each of the spots. I recommend this for people who don’t want to travel alone. We were in a bus that took us everywhere, though the bus did not have AC despite AC being advertised. I went in July so it was very hot but overall amazing guide and trip! I recommendPosted on Brian KVerified Seven Sisters tour from Brighton Fantastic tour. Pickup was right on schedule. Stops were well spaced out . Our guide/driver, Adam was well versed on the area with its history legends and stories. Scenery was stunning. Highly recommend this tour and Adam
