Experience the beauty of England’s South Coast on this guided tour from London

Escape London for a day and experience the dramatic Seven Sisters cliffs combined with free time in Brighton. This small-group tour is designed to give you the best coastal scenery in the morning, followed by flexibility in the afternoon — whether that’s exploring Brighton or heading straight back to London.

It’s ideal if you want iconic views of the Seven Sisters without committing to a full day in the countryside.

  • Visit two iconic Seven Sisters viewpoints

  • Seaford Head panoramic clifftop views

  • Birling Gap with beach access (conditions permitting)

  • Scenic drive through the South Downs National Park

  • Panoramic driving tour of Brighton

  • Free time to explore Brighton independently

  • Small group tour with local professional guides

Your day begins at London Bridge Station, where you’ll meet your guide and small group. After a short welcome and receiving your train tickets, you’ll travel together to Brighton before continuing by minibus into the South Downs.

The morning focuses on the Seven Sisters coastline. You’ll first stop at Birling Gap, the most famous location to experience the Seven Sisters up close. Here you’ll have time to walk along the clifftops, take photos from multiple viewpoints, and — conditions permitting — walk down to the beach to see the white chalk cliffs rising above you.

From Birling Gap, the tour continues to Seaford Head, a quieter and less crowded viewpoint offering a breathtaking panorama of the Seven Sisters stretching across the Cuckmere Valley. This is a relaxed walk around the headland, with time to take in one of the most dramatic coastal landscapes in England.

After the coastal section, you’ll return to Brighton for a panoramic driving tour of the city, giving you local insight into Brighton’s history, architecture, and culture.

The afternoon is then yours. You may choose to visit the Royal Pavilion, enjoy lunch or shopping in The Lanes, relax by the seafront, or return straight to London. Your return train ticket is flexible, giving you complete freedom over how long you stay in Brighton.
