Brighton & Beyond Tours
Brighton & Beyond offers award-winning small-group tours across Sussex and the South East of England, led by friendly local driver-guides who know the area inside out.
Our mission is to share the very best of Sussex through small-group tours that combine beautiful landscapes, local stories, and a relaxed, personal pace.
From the rolling landscapes of the South Downs National Park and the iconic white cliffs of the Seven Sisters, to the vibrant city of Brighton and the timeless countryside of the Hundred Acre Wood made famous by Winnie-the-Pooh, our tours are designed to show you more than just the highlights.
You can join us in London, where you’ll be met by one of our local guides and travel to Brighton by train, or meet us directly in Brighton, just behind the railway station. From there, we explore in comfort in our 16-seat Mercedes minibus, sharing local knowledge, hidden viewpoints, and plenty of time to enjoy each stop at an unhurried pace.
Our Story
Brighton & Beyond Tours was founded almost ten years ago after spending more than 15 years working in tourism, running tours across the UK and Europe. During that time, it became clear that some of the most spectacular landscapes of all were much closer to home.
Living in Sussex, and spending time in the South Downs and along the Seven Sisters cliffs, it was surprising to see that none of the large national tour companies were visiting these places. With that in mind, and with the full support of our family, we decided to throw everything into creating a tour that showcased the very best of the area we call home.
Like any small business, the journey hasn’t always been straightforward. There have been plenty of ups and downs over the years — including the challenges of COVID — but we’ve been incredibly fortunate to stick with it and steadily build Brighton & Beyond into what it is today.
We now operate a fleet of modern Mercedes minibuses and have been recognised multiple times by Tourism South East, the region’s official tourist body. We’ve been named Experience of the Year three times (2018, 2020 and 2025) and International Business of the Year, awards that mean a great deal to us as an independent, locally run company.
What we’re most proud of, however, is our team. Our driver-guides all live locally, love this part of the world, and are genuinely passionate about sharing Sussex with our guests.
As we head towards our tenth year of running tours, we’re proud to be the original company offering this experience — and we hope to continue welcoming visitors to Sussex for many years to come.
Our Awards
Over the years, we’ve been incredibly proud to receive a number of regional and international tourism awards, particularly from Tourism South East, recognising both the quality of our tours and the passion behind them.
In 2018, we were named Experience of the Year, as well as being awarded New Business of the Year and runner-up for International Business of the Year. In 2020, we were once again honoured with Experience of the Year, alongside International Business of the Year. Most recently, in 2025, we were delighted to receive both the International Tourism Award and Experience of the Year.
We’re also especially proud that one of our driver-guides, Kevin, was named runner-up for Unsung Hero of the Year, recognising the dedication and care our team brings to every tour.
Alongside these honours, we’ve consistently received the TripAdvisor Award for Excellence, based on guest reviews and feedback.
While awards are never the goal in themselves, they mean a great deal to us. They reflect the hard work of our team and, most importantly, the fantastic feedback from the guests who choose to explore Sussex with us.
